1) Restart Steam in case there is an update (both to steam and the game) then after clicking Play, wait a few seconds
2) Update to latest graphics drivers
3) Run the .exe as Admin
4) Make sure that your game folder is not in Read-Only mode
5) Delete the unity preference file located at ‘your directory home/Pixel Shopkeeper/prefs’6) Disable temporarily antivirus and firewalls, even if just to test. Sometimes they block certain programs from running
7) Right click on the game in your library and under the BETAS opt-in for the x86_64 build for architectures that might not be compatible with the default one
